This new version now supports 64-bit (tested on windows 7 64-bit) due to the removal of the CabLib library.
The bottom section has been redesigned so that the functions and options can be resized separately. The data file can also be cleaned up if websites are removed.
There are MHTML, compression, and archiving options listed, but they are not yet functional.
This version features a functional version of Web Updates Checker, which actually saves checked data and can resume after the application closes.
The file compression is currently a limitation, so try not to use that function yet.
This program also doesn't work for some sites, as their HTML changes every time you access the site. Examples include Google and MSN. For the most part, if the program doesn't tell you every time you check that the website has been updated, it will work.
With the summer starting (well it already started but I was busy for the first few weeks) the next version of Web Updates Checker is on its way.
This version will be fully (well, omitting any bugs that may show up) functional.
This version has only an outline of the main feature. It demonstrates the idea behind the program but is very limited in functionality and performance.
