Should be able to specify a custom sort order for each
datatype in the admin lists. For example, calendar
entries need to be displayed cronologically rather than
alphabetical by name. Seems this functionality would
probably be added to views?
Seems like what you're asking for is a default sort order.
You can re-sort info for a datatype by displaying that field
and then manually clicking on it.
