WebServ 1.1.1.0
-> apache -k start
the system cannot find the file specified. :no installed service named "Apache2".

WebServ 1.1.0.0
Error opening file for writing:
(several files, all in ../apache2/bin )
download twice...

WebServ 1.0.9.0
works fine no problems

  I had a similar problem with WebServ 1.2.5.1. The problem seemed to be caused by a space character in the path of the installation directory. Specifically, I had installed WebServ in C:/Program Files/WebServ/ and it didn't like the space between Program and Files. Installing the program in C:/WebServ/ fixed the problem.

  I had a similar problem, and it seemed to be caused by a space character in the path of the installation directory. Changing the installation directory from C:\Program Files\WebServ to C:\WebServ fixed the problem.
