I had a similar problem with WebServ 1.2.5.1. The problem seemed to be caused by a space character in the path of the installation directory. Specifically, I had installed WebServ in C:/Program Files/WebServ/ and it didn't like the space between Program and Files. Installing the program in C:/WebServ/ fixed the problem.

sounds like a bug, ill have to work on that.
