WebServ / Discussion / Help: Upgrading from 1.2.6 til 1.2.7 PHP 5.02

Hi

Thanks alot for at a great no-nonsence server system.
I'm running v1.2.6 PHP 5.01 and has just DL v1.2.7 PHP 5.02 - Can I just install the new package and everything will work just fine, with no further configuration needed, or do I have to do some twiching to the setup once its completed ??

Yes, I'm running with some PHP scripting witch depends on MySQL on the database that was set up when installation WebServ 1.2.6 the first time.

So could me upgrading this server, run into problem by installing the new package on top of the old one ?

  Backup mysql databases , backup everything from the wwwroot.
  deinstall the 1.2.6 install 1.2.7. restore mysql database,
  and copy your wwwroot backup into 1.2.7
  
  if you have made any changes to apache , php.ini or my.ini you must do this again in 1.2.7
