i cany connect to mysql with any thing, even PHPmyadmin, I started Winmysql Admin and in the system bar it says it is running i am using windows XP SP1 i installed to E:\WebServ

  ok, strage i trey just the username root with no password and it worked...even tho i set one when i installed
