"Under the current implementation, the event logs are stored in the user’s Firefox® profile folder and can be copied to arbitrary locations on the local file system (given that the user has access, etc.). It is then up to the user to return these results to the HCI researcher. The most obvious methods for doing this are via email, or uploading the results file to a website. However, some users may not have access to email, and some HCI researchers may not be able to set up such a website to receive files. Both these limitations could be solved, and the whole process standardized by providing a built-in method for returning logged data to the researchers in question.
This could perhaps be achieved by expansion of the metadata section of the experiment file’s XML schema to include information on how to return the data."
