"With more quantitative data from mouse events, it could be possible to reconstruct a user’s entire session including mouse movements and play it back in real time or at any given speed. However, there are a few features of mouse movement events that would need to be logged in order to enable this. For example Firefox® allows users to zoom in on a page and arbitrarily change the size of the text. It would be important for usability experts to see not only what size the user views the page at, but which parts of pages need to be made larger or smaller by the user for comfortable viewing. Also, it would be essential to keep track of the scroll position on a page.

Another area in which event data could be expanded is in page transitions. Some page transitions may be the result of a form being submitted. If the form is submitted using the HTTP GET method, then the content of the form is visible in the URI of the next page, however if it uses the POST method, the data entered is currently not visible to the researchers in the log."
