#2 Enhanced messages

The messages system is not bad, and it seems like some
use might be made of it. It could be improved by:
1. being able to send messages to non-logged in users
2. a link to send a message to a user from their home
page (maybe the mechanism for the above?)
3. a link to send a message from added comments
