Hi, Chaepest CALIS and VAGRA online. http://parkerokay+now.com Remove "+" from the link. says the champions get awarded points according to how well theyve done the tasks. Who are the judges? Harry asked. |

Hi, Economize 50% on Vaiagra Vaulium Ciualis http://www.tetrx-com Replace "-" with "." in the above link. Yes, hes quoted in the article in there, said Sirius, nodding at the paper. Where can I find more information about webperf. Specifically, I'm looking for answers to the following: 1) How taxing is the agent on a machine? i.e. how many pages are downloaded per agent per hour? Is there a max size allowed for a url? Is the agent considered stable? 2) How do you submit a url, how often is a url polled, and how many urls can each agent submit? 3) How many running agents are there currently? What countries are they located in? Thanks, Jon. p.s. The breakdown graph is awesome. |

I looked at using the cURL libraries, and even making use of the mozilla code. the problem withn cURL is that I don't think it gives you DNS resolution time. I think the best result would be to use the mozilla client. and somehow hook up a text-only version of it.. and possibly get render time from there as well. last time I looked the mozilla library was pretty complex, and needed to be patched to hold the info at the sub-request level.. but that was a year or so ago.. I didn't like forcing people to download ~10-15m of binaries just to get performance measurement working either. regards Ian Stephen Pierzchala wrote: > Maybe you could use the cURL libraries? Hi, Just a quick hint for people that try to use it. LWP::Parallel does not seem to be available on debian, so: apt-get install dh-make-perl dh-make-perl --cpan LWP::Parallel --build --install I think that adding this to debian would help this project a lot. Cheers, Cheche |

Hi, to give you a clue of the status of activity: I applied for an account with webperf for submitting URLs about two years ago and I've never gotten a response... I kinda gave up on it... But let me know if you have any luck registering your un/pw combination. :o) Regards, Ramses. _____ From: Hardeep Reehal [mailto:hr...@qu...] Sent: Tuesday, August 17, 2004 20:41 To: web...@li... Subject: [Webperf-general] is webperf still alive? I know that agents are still working as, yesterday, I downloaded the software and installed it. I can see that it has been collecting data for various sites, however, I have not gotten any mail from webperf regarding my membership, thus I am unable to submit URLs for performance measurements. I have already sent couple of mails with my username/password, but it is not activated yet. Are the new members still being added? Will I be able to use this site ever? Regards, hsr |

Due to feedback on the list, HTTPS support is now been made optional. the ./mkDefaults will ask if you want to measure HTTPS URL's and will not download HTTPS urls to your machine if you do not say 'Y' for this option. regards Ian |

Hello, I've got an ADSL connection, with static IPs, that has an upload max of about 70kB/sec. Would I have any problem using webperf? I have a couple URLs that I'd like to monitor, but is it ok for me to also monitor my friends servers? I would never charge any money for this of course. Thanks, Phil. |

It's great that you guys are adding functionality to the webperf agent, but every new package you require makes it that much more difficult to deploy an agent. In particular, I'm sure there are legal problems with installing OpenSSL in certain locations. At some point, you might consider making some of the packages optional, so that the maximum number of people can contribute to the webperf project. (Actually, it looks like the agent will work for non-https urls without OpenSSL installed...) -bob webperf wrote: > > This releases fixes an annoying bug in the installation routine, > and add HTTPS support to webperf... > > to get this release installed you will need > * to install openssl (this is available as a redhat 7 rpm, and at > http://www.openssl.org) > > * install the necessary CPAN packages.
