Hopefully VerySoon (tm).  Maybe around the middle of December.  One 
thing that will help us get 1.1 out the door faster is to have people 
like you help us test.  If you've got a development environment, I'd 
recommend popping 1.1b1 in, and giving it a go.  #macro and #const have 
been in CVS, and in heavy use by some of us, for many many months now.  
I think you'll be surprised at the stability.  :)
