I am sure I have done: value="#if (something) ... #end" ...before. Maybe I've lost my mind. If this is the way it -should-be why isn't it supported? I can only think of HTML color related issues, and those are surely taken care of now with the relaxed directive processing? It's very annoying if it is the way "it should be", particularly in the context of #macro because you can't call macros inline in some HTML.
