This is actually a known issue -- I originally posted something to the = list over a year ago (See http://www.servlets.com/archive/servlet/ReadMsg?msgId=3D140190&listName=3D= webmac ro). =20 The problem is with unclosed blocks that use the #begin or implicit = #begin. Since the parser didn't find a curly brace after the else it assumes an implicit #begin and looks for an #end. If no #end is found it = terminates the block at the end of the template -- without an error (ouch).
