[Webical-developers] Problems with webical on mobile devices

Hi,

Zoran mentioned that webical isn't working on mobile devices. I've installed
a nice firefox plugin <https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/967/> to let
firefox announce itself as another type of browser, but I can't seem to get
the same results. Has anybody had problems with mobile devices and if so
could you send me the details of which browser/version/platform it was on?
There is an excellent
list<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_agent#Example_user-agent_strings>on
wikipedia with user-agent strings to test, but it would go a lot
quicker
if I knew which browser has problems.

Thanks, but sadly this doesn't reveal the problem. I'm reading through the
wicket js code and it gives me a couple of leads. I'll try to mend some
stuff, would you be willing to test it on your phone when I'm finished?

Found something. I've committed some js to (hopefully) fix this problem. If
you could try it it would be a great help. If it doesn't work please send
some more details on what you get in the browser.

PS. Is this the String you get?:

Could not locate ajax transport. Your browser does not support the
required XMLHttpRequest object or wicket could not gain access to it.

I've deployed a new demo. Couldn't run the webicaldemcleaner.sh though,
don't have the right permissions. If you would be so kind.

Which browser are you using btw, the new nokia s60 oss browser?

i've put you in the sudo-ers, should go better now.
@thijs: perhaps you can change configuration so that others can execute 
the script in /var/sites/org.webical.demo/etc?

Hmm, can't seem to find a way to test with these browsers.  I've managed to
get  the j2me version of opera to work, but that one shows webical perfectly
(at least it shows it :)).

I'll try to fix the javascript error later this week. The maemo opera
version isn't bothered by it (think it doesn't support javascript), For this
browser we need to fix the css. Did you try
minimo<http://downloads.maemo.org/product/minimo/>btw?

If somebody knows a way to test in mobile browsers on linux (the javascript
as well) it would be appreciated.
