Thanks very much for the heads-up on that.

I put together that page, and unfortunately I didn't use the ideal
approach of 'progressive enhancement' that would have made the site
fully accessible to mobile browsers.

I'm hoping the ongoing branding process for the Chandler Project will
afford us an opportunity to fix this problem. I've opened a bug (8284)
to make sure this stays on our radar.

Again, thanks very much for the gentle nudge toward accessibility. :)

[Webical-developers] graphic design

It looks really great, Sjoerd surely made a great effort. I did however need
to clear my browsers cache before the new stylesheet was loaded, don't know
if there is a workaround so that wouldn't be necessary?

[Webical-developers] snapshot released on the demo

FYI

"We have just deployed a new Webical snapshot on the demo:

As you can see, work has been put in styling the default template. Most 
overview pages and details pages have been consistently styled and 
should work correctly. And lots of bugs have been squashed.

The current focus is on finishing the regular (accessible forms based) 
version. This includes making the style consistent across all pages and 
fixing any obvious bugs from user interface down to synching the 
iCalendar data. Once this is finished, we'll release a Webical which 
contains the MUSTHAVES.

Focus then will then move to finishing the AJAX (juicy drag 'n drop) 
version. After that, all Webical SHOULDHAVES are done.

What comes next is implementing plugins using the plugin framework. This 
is a pretty cool framework that makes it possible to extend the Webical 
calendaring platform with:
- front-end plugins (e.g. Google Maps integration, Weather integration, 
additional views, etc.)
- back-end plugins (e.g. CalDAV persistence, Database persistence, etc.)
- templates
- localizations (English and Dutch are already included)

I agree. It's sometimes difficult though to find a good balance between nice
and clean html/css and the logic on the serverside. Sometimes components
definitely belong on a certain panel, but in the output you would like to
see it outside the panel (and the surrounding div) and on the panels parent
component.
In our case we have a main page that includes content panels. These panels
contain control panels that logically definitely belong on the same content
panel, but visually they would be better off taken out and placed somewhere
else on the page.

Found something. I've committed some js to (hopefully) fix this problem. If
you could try it it would be a great help. If it doesn't work please send
some more details on what you get in the browser.

firefox announce itself as another type of browser, but I can't seem to get
the same results. Has anybody had problems with mobile devices and if so
could you send me the details of which browser/version/platform it was on?
There is an excellent
list<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_agent#Example_user-agent_strings>on
wikipedia with user-agent strings to test, but it would go a lot
quicker
if I knew which browser has problems.
