I also had a problem with the database:

zorankovacevic$ /usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql -u root < 
/Users/zorankovacevic/Desktop/webical-0.2\ Folder/DB_setup.sql
ERROR 1064 (42000) at line 47: You have an error in your SQL syntax; 
check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the 
right syntax to use near 'IF NOT EXISTS CREATE DATABASE `webical`
   `lastRefreshTimeStamp` bigint(20) defa' at line 10

I fixed it by temporarily letting hibernate create the needed tables. I 
have dumped the created and clean tables in the attached file. Please 
verify!

(the AUTH_webical.sql does work)
