While downloading WebHuddle_v0_4_9rc19_server.exe my anti-virus (TrendMicro OfficeScan) detects the file as infected. Is anyone else having this problem?
File: C:\Documents and Settings\**********\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\6DEVU9EN\WebHuddle_v0_4_9rc19_server.exe ($PLUGINSDIR\nsisdl.dll)
Date/Time: 5/20/2008 14:41:56
Result: Virus successfully detected, cannot perform the Clean action (Please see scan result of infected file: WebHuddle_v0_4_9rc19_server.exe)
Thanks for reporting this but looks like it is a false positive:
'Based on web searches, it appears that both Symantec and
McAfee have at one
time or another also misidentified this file as a
problem, but have since
corrected their virus signature updates to correct this
[this is from http://community.mcafee.com/showthread.php?t=135425 which I found by googling 'nsisdl virus']
What version of TrendMicro OfficeScan are you using and what virus definition file?
