&lt;p&gt;There is some curious syntax inside each BAT file. It runs a PS1 file whose name matches the name of the BAT file.  So you can copy any of the BAT files to a new name, and then it will run a PS1 of &lt;em&gt;that&lt;/em&gt; name. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Why?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Easy testing and usage of individual scripts&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;A pause happens at the end automatically, which lets you read error messages within the PowerShell environment.&lt;/li&gt;
