URL disallowed

  • Adam Tauno Williams

I've installed 0.18 on a SuSe 9.3 box running 5.0.30 (from the SuSe packages). Install seems fine and navigating to  https://tor.morrison.iserv.net/ba/base/
brings up a prompt for username/password. However, when the username/password is entered a message of "Url not allowed, please contact your administrator: /littleboy/" is displayed. Littleboy is the correct name of a server listed in servers parameter in web.xml; but I don't understand why the URL is disallowed. Changing to a different server or using an IP address imply results in that the corresponding URL is disallowed.

There is a small bug in the blacklist handling:

If your blacklist is empty, use "," instead of "" in your web.xml:

      best regards,

Yep, that fixed the problem.  Works great now, and very fast.

We are using this as a replacement for Davenport which no longer seems to be maintained;  so far it looks very nice.

I made a new release (0.19). This has the bug fixed and should be faster with initializing connections.
