I noticed that every time WebChangeMonitor runs it adds another
WebChangeMonitor.2023.xx.xx.config file. Left unchecked, this grows in the
folder requiring manual deletion. Do you think adding a timed log rotation
of x-days would benefit here?
This could have been handled by a Feature Request, however, lets do it here:
1.) The backup of the config file can be disabled in the options: Tools > Configuration... > "Misc" > "Make regular backups of config files on a daily basis"
2.) Such files can be easily cleaned-up by using Tools > Clean up (this will also remove other dump files for example that are created in case of server errors).
So you should have all options/tools at your hand. Are you still missing something?
