I downloaded and started WebChangeMontior on a Windows 10 system.
    It works.

Unfortunately it writes all settings to directory

    C:\Users\pet\AppData\Local\WebChangeMonitor\

How can I tell WebChangeMonitor to write all settings into the same (or a sub folder) directory as WebChangeMonitor.exe?

Can this at least be added as an checkbox-option to next WebChangeMonitor?

    Thank you

      do you use WebChangeMonitor_24_08.zip or WebChangeMonitor-24.08-setup.exe ?

You can use the command line interface to do that. Run WCM with /? to see all available options.
This ist also described in the sub-forum "Useful Tips&Tricks".

    ...this I meant:

Btw: If the folder ist writable, then placing the INI file and config file into the folder where the executable ist, makes it portable.

But empty %localappdata%\WebChangeMonitor is still created at each startup (win7, noopt).
