Running Checks Opens Browser Windows

Not sure if this is user error or a bug but when I run a Check All on items, a blank page opens in a new browser window for items that have been updated. Do I have a bad configuration?
Without configuration files its hard to tell but I assume for that item there is a post-process step setup. by accident that points to the browser. Try to disable post-process steps.
If that does not help, try to create a minimal example to reproduce and post it here.
