#12 WebCamXtra Shockwave error

I've been using the WebCamXtra to import images from a web
camera to Director. This all works at author time and runtime on my
Mac. It also works as a projector on all Macs. But when I create a
Shocked version it only works on my Mac but not on other
machines. What comes up is a Shockwave error reporting a
playback error. Is there a security issue I need to address? What am
I missing?

I've been to the WebCamXtra site which says you should set the
Xtra to "Download if Needed" from the menu Modify\Movie\Xtras\
but am not able to select this.

Has anyone come across this before? Can anyone shed some light
on this? Any answers will be greatly appreciated.

yes, i had the same problem...and found this strange solution:

if you change the name of the xtra ( and put "WebCamXtra" instead of Myron) it works of course if you have changed also your Xtrainfo file).
