#253 Logitech QuickCam Vision Pro for Mac

I have just bought a Logitech QuickCam Vision Pro for my 2006 Mac Pro running 10.5.7.

I connected the cam to a USB 2 powered hub, and the back and from usb ports of my mac (only USB device).

All my attempts to capture 30 fsp with BTV PRO at any resolution at or below 30 fsp at 640*480 result in 15 fps clips.

I did read this on the logitech forums.

Is there anyway to get 30 fps from the webcam on a Macam at 30 fps with the tips offered by Logitech re the 9000 on the Windows side?
The box and website state

"* Capture VGA video with Photo Booth and QuickTime PRO, or capture up to 2-megapixel images – including 720p – with UVC based applications like BTV PRO."
