#2332 layer problem with event spanning two days

I am running 1.2.b1.

One event has been created that starts in the evening and ends somewhere in the morning the next day. This events has several participants.

For one of these participants, I have the calendar as een extra layer added to my own calendar (with duplicates option set to not to show evens that we share).

The latter works perfectly on the day the event starts: only my own instance is shown. That doesn't work on the second day, where suddenly both instances of the same event are shown.
