Is there a plan laid down for exactly what needs to be done and who does what? Do you have a future vision for the WebHTCP? Are you planning on staying current with the ubuntu schedule or just stick with one release for a year (or longer) ?
Big questions, but I'm just curious and i just want to find out how to help in the best possible way.

Well I am not really a proponent of the six month release cycle. I think Ubuntu often rushes things out before they are stable enough for an end user. With that said, We will make every effort to support webbhtpc on new versions of Ubuntu as they come out but I will not mark them as stable until I have confidence in their stability. i am a big believer in the it's done when it works right philosophy. I believe one of our devs is toying with 11.04 as we speak.
We are still alpha because of the high and medium priority issues here.
I have made great headway in both uploading the essential components to the svn as well as documenting. I need to fix the login issues and create a ppa so future patching is possible. I currently am working on this issues by myself but if anyone wants to help they are more than welcome.
As for future vision, our goal is to give the end user the best possible Linux HTPC experience. I have some long term ideas on how to do this and I will post code once I get them at least partially working but in the mean time I'm just focusing on stabilizing what I have. I plan to make this distro for the community by the community.
Granted, I am doing all the packaging and release iso spinning but I look forward to feedback from the community and hopefully other devs. I am very much against forcing users to bend to my vision of what a HTPC should be so I am all for an open development process.
