Yes this is most likely normal. A lot depends on your httpd.conf and how many servers you are starting up with Apache. Apache 2 is the Webserver, in case ou werent sure, and the -DSSL is ssl support when you start. You can adjust how many servers, or process apache spawns when it starts. Or if you do not need Apache you can disable it at boot time under System boot up and shut down. Look for Apache or HTTPD.

currently im trying to configure webmin and just need to know if this is normal
i have the following process showing up about 20 times in the running process list
/usr/sbin/apache2 -k start -DSSL
as a noob to webmin i dont know much so any help would be great
