Has anyone started working on a module for asterisk? If you do not know what asterisk is please go to http://www.asterisk.org/ . I currently have asterisk running on my server, and it awsome, and fairly easy to use. Asterisk has about 15-20 different config files but they all do different things and are all located in the same folder, and they are all *.conf files. I'm not sure on how to build modules for webmin, so im just wondering if anyone has started on one, or maybe this will give someone a chance to start on one.

Is there a GPLed version in the pipeline? I know it won't be as full featured as the Thirdlane Technologies version, but I am unable to warrent $295 for my home system

I too, am interested in a GPLed version of the asterisk module as the price is above and beyond what I can warrant for testing purposes. Even a non-webmin GPLed GUI would be helpful.

Asterisk PBX Manager by Thirdlane Technologies, LLC http://www.thirdlane.com/opensource.htm#manager is implemented as a webmin module.

There is a great (non-Webmin) GPLed Web GUI, FreePBX http://www.freepbx.org/, I've been using it for over a year and a half.
It's the one that they use in Trixbox (previously Asterisk@home).
Though I would like to have a Webmin module as well. :(
