the perl modules module is great but when you try to install/upgrade a module and it fails the file is deleted and has to be redownloaded when attempting another install.
it's especially frustrating when there are dependencies needed so you fetch those (redownloading the original as well) then that fails too and has to be done all over again. (this is more of a problem when you're on dialup :( and the perl module is 20MB)
my request is that the downloaded files be optionally left on the server until dependent modules are installed, (like in the software packages module). I guess that would require a local browse function to get the file from the tmp folder where it's stored.
I'd also like to see a feature that will enable the upgrade of all installed perl modules at once, either manually or on a shedule.
