[root@mercury init.d]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/mysqld start
Starting MySQL: [ OK ]
[root@mercury init.d]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/mysqld status
mysqld (pid 12078 12077 12076 12074) is running...
[root@mercury init.d]# sh: -c: line 1: unexpected EOF
while looking for matching `''
sh: -c: line 2: syntax error: unexpected end of file
but when i go in to webmin it outputs that last error.
I'm using Redhat 7.2
I've even tried replacing the webmin mysql config file with
the default for redhat 7.2 and im using the rpms that
come with 7.2. It worked before I tried to update to a
newer version of mysql. Is this a webmin problem or
somthing else.
MySQL is not running on your system - database list
could not be retrieved.
I have reinstalled the datbases and set my password.
