Hi, when added a new domain to local domains, webmin did something I don't like, it found and removed 1 instanses of "CW localhost" and 1 instance of "CWlocalhost" (hmmm... misconfig?)in the main "sendmail.cf" file. I suppose it expect "localhost" to be present in "sendmail.cw", but it wasn't and this is how Sendmail was configured by M4 at install. System: SuSE 7.0 Pro Sendmail: 8.11.0 I don't blaim webmin for this, or sendmail, rather I belive SuSE is failing, if any. But I feel unsure about sendmail configurations (who doesn't?) although I have tried to swallow the O'reily "black brick". Can someone enlighten me? and maybe this is something for webmin to look out for as this probably not only happens to me. Regards, Joakim |

When you edit local domains in webmin, it moves them all into the local domains file (usually /etc/mail/sendmail.cw) when you have. This has no effect on the functionality of sendmail, though it may confuse other tools that don't know about that file .. - Jamie |

Maybe a "beautifier" to check and not put it more then once? Not sure why there was 2 instanses of it in .cf file, but totaly blaim SuSE for that! :-) All well, Joakim > - > Forwarded by the Webmin mailing list at web...@we... > To remove yourself from this list, go to > http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/webadmin-list > |
