Webmin/virtualmin do a great job of logging bandwidth usage for email, ftp, and web. However, I want to log other bandwidth also. Like, if they use wget in the shell to download a huge file, I want that counted towards their bandwidth. How can I add the bandwidth for activities they do in the shell to the overall bandwidth virtualmin/webmin already count? Not sure if this is possible, but I sure need/want it. |

is it possible to monitor bandwidth (and disable if over) from a certain day of the month instead of the beginning. Like if their account started on the 12th of the month, it goes from the 12th to the 12th? |

Unfortunately, no ... virtualmin doesn't support different monitoring cycles for each domain. Instead, is can do accounting over the last month, week, day, or last N days. - Jamie On Jul 8, 2009, at 1:11 PM, "Jeremy Jefferson" <we...@jj...> wrote: > is it possible to monitor bandwidth (and disable if over) from a > certain day of the month instead of the beginning. > > Like if their account started on the 12th of the month, it goes from > the 12th to the 12th? > --- > --- > --- > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > Enter the BlackBerry Developer Challenge > This is your chance to win up to $100,000 in prizes! There's no way in Virtualmin at the moment to account for downloads like this to a particular virtual server. You can use the Bandwidth Monitoring module (under Webmin -> Networking) to do accounting by protocol, but not by domain. I agree that this would be a cool feature, but I can't see any way to implement it .. - Jamie On 24/Jun/2009 14:39 Jeremy Jefferson wrote ..
