Apologies if this was discussed... Sourceforge's Yahoo search doesn't
seem as good as whatever Jamie used before on the Webmin archive, but I
did search for 1/2 hour on this.
We use Redhat, sendmail, Mimedefang, webmin/usermin, and procmail (for
everyone) and vacation modules here. Problem is that the vacation
module creates/modifies .forward which supercedes .procmailrc. This
works great for legitimate email (auto-responds), but for spammers,
properly tagged spam gets autoresponse (and usually bounces to forged
From line) via .forward since .procmailrc not referenced.
One solution would be to have the vacation module modify .procmailrc
instead of .forward. Has anyone done this? Otherwise I will start
looking at modifying the vacation module. Or is there a smarter way to
