(Figuring that if you put in code to > understand it you might have put in code to set it easily...) Currently, those directives can only be set in the Apache Configuration module, by clicking on a virtual server, then on Aliases and Redirects. The 'Map local to remote URLs' table can then be used to edit ProxyPass directives.. Virtualmin doesn't have any simple UI for ProxyPass directives, but then again it doesn't really need them .. - Jamie |

So you're suggesting that virtual hosts are by definition local? Not so for us. |

However, it would be possible to add a field on the domain creation form for entering the name of a host to proxy to, which would cause ProxyPass and ProxyPassReverse directives to be automatically added. How does that sound? - Jamie |

Fine... though it seems that the previously-expressed idea of supporting multiple directive sets would be a more general approach. |

Wouldn't you need some place for entering the remote host to proxy to though? - Jamie |

(I seem to have used up my braino points for the day.) Since that was a trivial feature to implement, I will put it in the next Virtualmin release. However, you will need to turn on a setting on the Module Config page to make the new field on the server creation form appear, as I figured that most users would be confused by this option. - Jamie |
