I'm just installed Webmin 1.150-1 (RPM) from http://www.webmin.com in a Linux
2.6 (Fedora Core 2). Everything works fine but the "System and Server
I've defined 4 copies of PostgreSQL module. All of them run on
localhost on different ports and module configuration is OK (each
module seeing its own tables, starting its own init.d scripts and so).
I've also created 4 different processes to check 4 Apache Tomcat
running on several IP addresses. But when any of this 8 elements goes
down the Webmin page reports it as down but does not execute the "If
monitor goes down, run command" statement. I've tried simpler things
like touching a file or sending an email, but nothing works. The cool
thing is that if I monitor the SSH Server or Sendmail it works fine
(restarts the service and sends a notice via mail).
Is there any restriction on what can execute webmin when a service is down?
Is there any way to see what is webmin doing each time "monitor.pl" is
