I joined the list just now, but I have been using webmin on three
different Linux/RH7.x servers for several months.
I do have some special needs and I was hoping, that somebody else would
have had similar needs so that I wouldn't have to reinvent the wheel.
I would like to add users on a nis-server so, that it would also add
some lines to a sendmail-aliasfile.
So the admin gives the Fullname, username (and maybe some additional
groups) and chooses whether it will use a filter or not and webmin then
creates the account and adds following lines to the alias-file. (also
running the makemap as it does in the sendmail-module)
or if we want to use the filter:
lgu | filter.sh lone.gunner
It would also be nice to make it possible when configuring the
alias-file to have a menu, where you could choose any of those later.
Another thing what I would like to have is a webmin module, where you
can change passwords simultaneously on your (nis)unix-system and a NT
and/or W2K domain controller. (Using samba).
If anybody has done anything like this, please help. I am a complete
perl novice, so any help is appreciated.
