Webmin can sort of do what you want today, but not exactly. If you set up all of your servers in the Webmin:Servers module, and include login information for each, you can configure all of them by 'logging in' to only one. However, you'll have to switch between them on the Servers page. To do what you envision will require some customization. There are a few ways to do it, I think--the easiest being to create a new page on the main Webmin index that lists your 'Favorites' that link directly to the other Servers pages you need (i.e. Apache on machine1, Postfix on machine2, etc.). You'll have to get the links from the Webmin Servers page--they look something like this: http://delilah:10000/servers/link.cgi/989449045/apache/ I'm not sure exactly how much work it would be to do that though... eb...@so... wrote: > Hi all, > > We have a few servers that have webmin running on them, each controlling > different services. > > I'd like to set up a server that can centrally manage all the other webmin > boxes, ie by accessing this one server and logging in once, I can click on > a postfix icon for example and access the webmin box in charge of postfix. > > Problem is that, how do I make it such that after I click on the postfix > icon on the central server, it will auto login to the postfix webmin box > (assuming same user and password as central) so I don't have to log in > again? > > Thanks for reading, and regards. > > (Hope webadmin-devel is indeed the correct place to post this, if not, my > apologies) > > Eric -- Joe Cooper <jo...@sw...> http://www.swelltech.com Web Caching Appliances and Support |
