I have several FreeBSD 8 machies running Webmin 1.520. These machines
are setup to initiate a webmin managed ipfw firewall script at boot up. All
of them are running fine accept one. When the 1 machine boots, it loads the
/etc/ipfw.rules fine, but it does not flush the files added by
/etc/rc.firewall. It appears that those rules are from the 'closed' section
Here is what I have in my rc.conf:
I post this in the webmin list, because I am not sure if webmin is
loading the /etc/ipfw.rules after the Webmin server has started, or if they
are being loaded from FreeBSD (using the firewall_type parm above).
The very strange thing is that this machine is an exact clone of a
master machine, and alll the other exact clones are booting up fine.
Any ideas anyone?
