Hi Jamie, THis is where I'm stuck. All of the relevant info comes up on the sytem information page, hostname, OS VM version etc. All the boxes add correctly when adding webin servers in the webmin servers mod. All the added servers work fine in the clusters mods. It's just the BIND mod I'm having an issue with, I get the error when trying to add a slave cluster. In the slave cluster Module all of the servers are listed in the drop down menu by hostname. If I select one, then click add, I get the fore mentioned error: Failed to add server : Could not work out this system's IP address. You > should set the Default master server IP for remote slave zones on the > Module Config page. I now that I detect by your note that the response is for the complaining machine, I took off the auto detect from hostname and inserted the appropriate IP address and it worked fine. That's weird as it only matters to the primary and secondary nameservers. The question still is, why doesn't BIND detect the IP from the hostname when everything else does? Thanks, Dan PS: can you have Joe get back to me on VMPro pricing in bulk?? thanks On 26 Jan 2008 at 14:51, Jamie Cameron wrote: From: "Jamie Cameron" <jca...@we...> To: Webmin users list <webadmin- li...@li...> Copies to: Date sent: Sat, 26 Jan 2008 14:51:29 -0800 (PST) Subject: Re: [webmin-l] BIND slaves Send reply to: Webmin users list <webadmin- li...@li...> <mailto:webadmin-list- re...@li...?subject=unsubscribe> <mailto:webadmin-list- re...@li...?subject=subscribe> > On 26/Jan/2008 07:03 da...@so... wrote .. > > Hi, > > > > After (assuming) a CentOS update to 4.6 I have BIND slaves problems > > again.
