I'll chime in to point out that anything that requires third party patches to Postfix is verboten (i.e. I'm going to yell at Jamie if he wastes development time on supporting it). As Jamie mentioned, this kind of virtual user is just bad business, in general, and when you have to add patches to make it work, at all, it's even worse. Using standard tools and users is the path to UNIX enlightenment.
