Thanks Freddie, I was going to do this, but needed something up right away (murphy's law has reared it's influence, of course). I am using the ports, did not notice the extensions directory. Saw a couple of references regarding the extensions on a couple boards, did not realize it was an actual port that could be used. The issue with the virtual domains and squirrelmail now is that the username is based on only part of the domain (e.g. "myname-mydom" is the unix username but the addressed username is mapped from "myname" in postfix virtualmaps) . The users are unix users and FreeBSD has a 16 character limit on the usernames. I need to find a plug in that will allow static mapping, something like the version in the Usermin readmail. I think probably should have used non-system accounts for email... ldap or mysql based, that is. Thanks for the info.
