Webmin doesn't do anything special when installing Perl modules.. it just runs perl Makefile.PL make make install As you would when installing from the command line. The 'make install' part is where the module's install script copies files into the appropriate directory. Typically, the site_perl, vendor_perl and a few other directories are in the @INC path that Perl uses to find modules. I wonder if ClamAV is modifying or breaking this in some way?
