I get the following error when trying to enable an SSL site on webmin installed on a SunOS 5.11 on i86pc machine

.. SSL website failed! : No OpenSSL configuration file found on this system! at /opt/local/share/webmin/web-lib-funcs.pl line 1495.

    Hi,

Make sure that package openssl is actually installed.

If it does, perhaps, you would need to help Webmin finding it at Configuration for module Webmin Users. (Webmin/Webmin Users and cog icon on top left of the table, later there you will find System configuration accordion.)

I changed openssl to /opt/local/bin/openssl since that's where it is. Is there a way to point it to the correct config file?

    Default should be correct.

However, I think you could use -config option.

Check Webmin Configuration/Certificate Authority page and/or /etc/webmin/acl/openssl.cnf file.

/etc/webmin/acl/openssl.cnf is not there so that's probably my problem. Openssl is installed though and SSL is working on the webmin console and manually configured SSL sites in apache are working no problem. There's just issues when I go to check the ssl site box in virtualmin

A brief restore became to create a post backup script in an effort to problem chmod of the tar report as you can read. We failed to find a solution through webmin for chaning permissions during backup or inside webmin panel.
