    Hi all,

    Since recently:

    CentOS Linux release 7.6.1810
    BIND 9.9.4-RedHat-9.9.4-73.el7_6 (Extended Support Version)

At 'Servers' -> 'BIND DNS Server' -> 'Create Slave Zone'

    Zone type: Forward
    Domain name / Network: example.com
    Records File: Automatic
    Master Servers: 10.0.1.32
    Server port: Default

Select the newly created DNS zone. Click on 'Test Zone Transfer'

    Error appears:

Testing transfer of slave zone from ..
    .. from : Failed : /bin/dig: couldn't get address for '': not found

    Any ideas?

    Regards Tom

I have the same issue when running Webmin 1.910-1. When clicking on the "Test Zone Transer" inside of a Slave Zone it returns the error:

Testing transfer of slave zone from ..
    .. from : Failed : /bin/dig: couldn't get address for '': not found
    .. from : Failed : /bin/dig: couldn't get address for '': not found

It seems like its not able to read the Master server IPs from the zone options, because the number of errors matches the number of master servers for that zone. If I roll back to the previous Webmin version (1.900), it works fine.

    CentOS 7.6
    BIND 9.9.4-74.el7_6.1
    Webmin 1.910-1

    Have a look here

    https://sourceforge.net/p/webadmin/bugs/5277/

It seems there is a solution available soon.

Thanks for passing that onto me. I hoped it was something that would be fixed in the next version but didn't see many people talking about it.
