I am trying to create a few scheduled filesystem backups and also have the be incremental. I keep getting different errors and I have worked through them most but I am now stuck. I have created a scheduled full backup of a directory without compression and given in an archive name. I then created an identical backup except set it to be incremental. I ran the full backup with success and then tried to run the incremental backup however it fails immediately with the following;
Performing backup of /rei/samba_mounts/rei-fp1 to /rei/reibackups/rei-fp1_%F.tar ..
tar: Archive not labeled to match `rei-fp1_backup'
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
.. backup failed!
Here are my two DUMP files, the first for the full backup and the second for the incremental one.
