I have a symlink that points /etc/asterisk to /mnt/nfs/etc/asterisk. I created some file editors that allow individuals to edit specific asterisk conf files. If the files are actually located at /etc/asterisk the file editor works fine, however if /etc/asterisk is symlinked the file editor simply hangs when trying to save the file. I've already checked permissions of the files in /mnt/nfs/etc/asterisk, and i'm not squashing root on the mount or export.
any thoughts would be appreciated… this is centos 5.8 x86_64
