Webmin w/ Squid

I'm having problems getting the squid cache directory to initialize.  I get the error: Cannot write to directory /etc/squid3.  I checked the permissions of that directory and it's owned by proxy proxy.  I never created that account, so I assume that's a default from squid.  I was thinking it was a permissions issue, but I'm not sure now.

How are people getting the cache directory initialized?  I was really hoping to get Squid configured with Webmin.
