I'm a newcomer to Webmin and still learning. Running CentOS 8, installed Webmin 1950 but cannot get time server sync to play nice: I get the error on the subject line. Can anyone offer some advice? Thanks.

    Great idea. Thanks.

I just added support for new chronyc command on CentOS 8.

Here is the patch, which will push to upcoming minor version.

Also relatively new to Webmin; I am getting the same error with a new Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS installation with Webmin 1.979.

Have you tried sudo apt install ntpdate?

Being new to Linux as well, I found that shortly after posting my question here. All is well now. Thank you for the reply.
