I'm trying to install PostgreSQL on an Ubuntu 12.04 server running Webmin.

I've used the sudo apt-get install postgresql command.
I can now, under the Servers menu (in Webmin) see PostgreSQL Database Server, but when I click on it, it displays a page with the message,

The PostgreSQL host configuration file /etc/postgresql/*/main/pg_hba.conf was not found on your system. Maybe PostgreSQL has not been initialised, or your module configuration is incorrect.

Clicking on module configuration brings up a page:

Would really appreciate some help on this, pls.

Hi, I just had the same problem, but I just notice that the path by default its not the same for the 9.X version, so, just search for the path to your pg_hba.conf file, and everything should work just fine.
