I have run webmin using xinetd on demand for a long time and have done this
on a lot of linux systems.
However, Ubuntu 16.04 uses systemd for servers (and not inetd) and in this
new case I cannot use xinetd.
When webmin installed from the debian package it converted the conventional
init script to one used by systemd. Unfortunately this was not designed to
be run on demand.
Does anyone know how to alter this systemd configuration to run the webmin
miniserv on demand?
Or how to create a native systemd entry that can run this on demand?
