I've just built a new instance of CentOS 6.5 with PHP 5.3. I installed via YUM, so the default user is my root user.

I've checked the users file and it reflects this.

    I also have PAM enabled.

When I attempt to login at mywebserver.com:10000, the page just refreshes to mywebserver.com:10000/webmin/session_login.cgi.

There is no error message on the page. Nothing in Apache error logs. Nothing in Webmin error log.

So, now I'm stuck and can't think of what to check next.

Has anyone seen a problem like this? It seems like installing Webmin should be a pretty straight-forward process.

yep. should be straight forward. t-shoot it.
use your cli and make sure webmin is running.
try a different browser, we use many. try logging in as root.
in your cli, try adding a new user to su as remote login by root may be forbidden by default- then try webmin.
try also 20000 for usermin and see if that works.

I was getting no login page what so ever but that seemed to be a multihoned IP and or bridging issue ?

But once I installed it on the actual server not a vps guest it worked fine.
